Hi rlankford,

This is very interesting and very well documented. I would like to have a better look at the code to perhaps be implemented in a future XOOPS release.

I have created a patch item on SourceForge for this. Could I ask you to create a package containing the modified files and upload it on this patch item.

Looking forward to test this !

Hi Catz ! It is a pleasure to see you here. I believe you can truly help the XOOPS project and I hope you will !

However, I'm supporting Dave_L in his last post. XOOPS does not need another single leader. XOOPS needs a strong team of skilled people to develop the code, organize the community, the official sites, coordinate the documentation etc...

As Dave_L mentioned, we have some good discussion on the SourceForge Core Forum and 9 of us met yesterday for a chat meeting which discussion shall be published today.

Altough DJ currently acts as the core leader, it was very clear that we are a team and we make team decision. DJ is not an all-powerfull leader

I strongly encourage to come and join us and help us build what XOOPS should be !

That I can understand. But what are your suggestions ? If you are convinced that this is not the good path, please explain your solutions. What I'm reading in this thread is complaints, but I don't see any solutions.

You are an awesome developer. You have many, many skills that can be useful to our project. Help us making it better ! Help us making it the way it should be !

Sorry Herve, too long article and too many comments, not sure what you meant.

But in any cases, XOOPS history has known many downs, many ups, many wars, even terrorist attacks

. But we remain. And maybe this time is still not he good one, but what have we to loose !

Anyway, I forced myself not participate in those discussions as I really think they do not add anything good so I won't say anything else regarding this.

phppp has my full support, as well as anyone who wants to help in any aspects of this project, should I know him/her of not, does not matter. Only thing needed is good faith. The rest shall come !
