The files will get overwitten by the files from your /themes and /templates folders eventually.

Have you tryed any of the others? I think wordpress would give the desired effect, but I havn't really tryd out the blogs as I have no sites which need the feature.

Those sort of permissions are done on a per module basis. For instance in News 1.3, you can set group permissions for Approve, submit and view. Other Modules may give differnt options.

help with custom block to create a menu

Would anybody be willing to help me with making a custom block, my php knowledge is not so good.

What I need is a menu that will display the categories and then the articles as dynamic sublinks under the categories. I could do this using multi-menu, but I need it to be automatic, so that if an editor of my site added an article that it would appear in the menu straight away. I'm looking to do this with the latest version of articles, just released. If any body can help me with the code I need, it would be great.

I can't remember in NewBB 1, but certainly there's the option in NewBB 2 (along with a whole load of other nice features not avilable in NewBB 1), a lot has progressed in the last 9 months
