Module Packs...no info

I am still scratching my head...
I downloaded one huge pack. company pack...but all the modules in there basically dont work smoothly.

I looked for other packs, but:
WHTAS IN THERE?
no description of content.

Where can I see details what is contained in the single module packs?

Hi,
How often is the file repository reviewed?
It seems that some Modules there dont really work any more like the stockbox which does nothing or the Xoopsgallery for photo management. For the XOOPS gallery, even trying to edit one of the blocks leads to blank pages.
The Multi Menu module does nothing.

When I select the block option, then I get a list of blocks (Blocks administration) with loads of radio buttons for positioning.
On this main Blocks page I can change what I want. When I then try to save....
it doesnt save anything.
Instead it goes in one step to the "System Configuration" page.
Is that also "NORMAL"? or a bug?

Thanks a lot.
That explains why.
Then I got no chance but every time edit the file on my computer and upload it.
Only that way it seems possible to script own links into the main menu.

Thanks, I didnt know that just in this moment there was a database problem. Bad luck, I guess.

So, how about my problem with the block HTMLS, all CHMODed to 777, but still not editable.

Yes, I know, the posts are there, but they should have been in the forum so that I can find hlp for my problem which is:

I have a problem editing the blocks and although I have CHMODed them to 777 there is no submit button after editing one of the block HTMLs.

What I am still fighting with is:

I would like to change the main menu and for that I went into admin....blocks...and tried to change system_block_mainmenu.html Unfortunately there is only a view button but no button to save the changes.

I have CHMODed the system_block_mainmenu.html file to 777 so that it could be overwritten.

So, whats wrong?
