Hi,
How often is the file repository reviewed?
It seems that some Modules there dont really work any more like the stockbox which does nothing or the Xoopsgallery for photo management. For the XOOPS gallery, even trying to edit one of the blocks leads to blank pages.
The Multi Menu module does nothing.

Right now we are focusing on the Theme Gallery, the Module Repository, will be next.

We've done already a catalog of modules, and will be uploading any of those missing little by little. But the biggest challenge will be to test them and make sure that they work on our latest XOOPS version.

We've started already for 2.3 - check that thread

Of course, we'll need help from the whole community, as the task is a big one.

I can help you checking things.
Just tell me what to do.

For example I have installed a 4metal theme
That somehow only works with the main menu, no more.
The rest still has to be adjusted....In the blocks menu it displays everything as one text instead of separating the links.

Well, it seems the only version to download and install is 2.0.18.2
at least thats whats on the XOOPS core page.
Apart from that looking at the links there there are hints that XOOPS 2.2 exists.
Now you are mentioning v2.3 to me.

Why is XOOPS V2.2 nowhere to be found on the XOOPS Core page if there is already XOOPS v2.3?

Correct! 2.0.18.2 is the latest and officially supported version of XOOPS.

The 2.2 branch was something that didn't work out, and you can read more about it here...

The 2.3 version will merge those two version into one version going forward. This will help us to deploy our limited resources in a more efficient way.
