It would be nice to have a 'Holiday Request Form' for staff/system users to fill in the form, Submit the details. The details can be added to by management (e.g. status- accepted or denied) and later reviewed by the requesting staff user.

Existing forms can submit the data to an email, but the form itself is not saved. Because it is not saved it can not be updated and viewed back by multiple users.

I assume it might work similar to a ticket system??

Any smart guys out there can do this?
Otherwise, any advice on existing modules which could be used?

Please help.

How is it possible to transfer data from my old site that uses PHP to my new XOOPS site.
I am using a Helpdesk module and want to fill my XOOPS helpdesk with existing data from the old system.

Any advice welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your help, I will take a look!

Although, is this for transfering just HTML or can it be used to transfer data from a database system?

Thanks again,

Hi,

I want to transfer a whole bunch of data from an old dotproject system (www.dotproject.net) to a new XOOPS system I am trying to develop.

I suspect I am best using Perl, I am inexperienced can anybody lend some help?

Any written scripts I could use?
Any tutorials specific for this purpose?
Are there any resources which you can suggest?

Many thanks,

But are these not things for a new user (XOOPS Newby) installing/creating a XOOPS system and not really usefull for 'end user' using the system the 'XOOPS Newby' has created?

Looks like ill go it alone, start from scratch

hi,

Can anyone recommend a good XOOPS Module to install for the purpose of creating a 'user guide' / ' tutorial' for end users to learn how to use my XOOPS system.

Any user guide or tutorial examples?
Some XOOPERS, somewhere, must have doen this already!

Many thanks,

Good work, it looks nice.

Im not sure if its what im looking for though.
I am working for an already installed and developed XOOPS system. I want 'End User Guides' to explain how to use my system.

As modules are very similar for all XOOPS users, I was hoping there were existing end user guides that could help me?

Paul

Are there any user guides that I can use to help train people how to use my new system?

Any generic XOOPS end user guides for this perpose?
Any examples of specific end user guides, perhaps from other 'XOOPERS'?
Any XOOPS user guide that I can use for my own specific perpose?

Whats the best method/modue to put this into a XOOPS system?

Any help welcome. Thanks

Are there any user guides, documentation or online pages?
Specifically user guides for the end user of a XOOPS system (a general customer, site visitor or internal employee)?

Whats the best method/module to implement an end user guide into a XOOPS system?

Many thanks,
