Perl- Transfering data from old system to new.

Hi,

I want to transfer a whole bunch of data from an old dotproject system (http://www.dotproject.net) to a new XOOPS system I am trying to develop.

I suspect I am best using Perl, I am inexperienced can anybody lend some help?

Any written scripts I could use?
Any tutorials specific for this purpose?
Are there any resources which you can suggest?

I strongly recommend WRAPS by GIJOE. This excellent module will take any html page and reincorporate it into xoops. I imported 5000 pages of html with no problems at all. Search engine friendly URLs, XOOPS searchable and retaining site css style sheet.

Worth a try!

Thanks for your help, I will take a look!

Although, is this for transfering just HTML or can it be used to transfer data from a database system?
