I'm working on a site where the owner wants to maintain the image files, but knows zip out the workings of the site.

I guess you might say I'm looking for something of a cross between and album/gallery and news/AMS articles type mod.

1) Admin needs to batch upload photos to one folder.

2) Admin wants to be able to scroll via a dropdown list the image folder and poke the images into the document, on the fly.

3) Admin wants to create article/news type content and insert images throughtout the article.

4) Admin wanted to have a thumbnail feature for the images so the article/news document would have small discernible images 120x120, 150x150, 200x200, etc. Then the document would be laced with verbal content and images.

5. Users of the site can click on an image, for a 600x600 or other type normal view in a popup box.

This is first request I've had for something like this. It maybe a current module and I've just not seen it.

I'd appreciate any suggestions. I realize the news and AMS articles are probably very close to do the trick, but the admin cannot scroll the image files to select an image or click thumbnails for a normal view.

I've considered several workarounds, but I thought someone may already be doing this.

Thanks

Re: Newbb with Koivi editior

you might want to think hard about an HTML editor within a forums.

The Koivi is also a little difficult for the average forum user.

What we need is a little better editor for XOOPS equal to most of the BB and we'll be set.

I understood from reading the blurb on the XCgal you could not batch upload via FTP in ver 1.1

CLICK TO READ IT

That is what I thought was to be included in the 1.3 version of coppermine ported to Xoops.

Hey...I'm happy with that if it's so, because I've been using the standalone version of Coppermine. I'd love to get one registration and same theme on my site.

Admin on the site wants to create his own articles, content, etc. with a built-in high quality type of editor(spaw, other) with options for color and multi-images.

Doesn't want comments, ratings, Email, printouts, attached files. etc. Would like to add Email or printout of the information to some users.

Users will not have any permissions to work with this module, only the admin.

I've messed around with different things, but thought I'd ask for some ideas.

I've never been so pressed for space before on a site, but I need to free up as much as possible.

I'd like to leave off some modules from the Core mods, if possible,i.e. forums, headlines, etc.

Anyone know of possible issues or problems...or if it can be done?

Need a gallery mod - still supported with FTP for upload pics

Gotta put up a gallery on a site

1) Need to upload hundreds of pics via FTP at a time.

2) Need to limit user uploads to specific number of bytes for each users gallery.

I haven't done a gallery for over a year, and as I recall there were none with this ability at that time.

It would be nice if it was ported to XOOPS and especially if there was current support to Xoops.

I'd appreciate any links or resources.

I just went to the Coppermine site. Looks like I'm in business, if it's ported to current Xoops.

I'd still appreciate any Comments or suggestions on a Gallery mod, nothing is written in BLOOD.

------------

Thanks

Sorry to be so late

That is probably the correct db. You should have options to check and repair on the screen just above your database information.

I'm not talking about using phpadmin.

Your server panel should have a click on to MySQL.
