#### Change of Logo + Fonts

How are you all? Many years ago I got the logo rendered in australia for XOOPS this is before I was within the project I met okiuzi over UseNet and had someone render it for him, I think it is time we change our logo and branding fonts, I have asked the team to select "families" of fonts for a series of ranged items for me to put in the XoopsMedia/Fonts and to when decided to mount the previous logo and artworks in XoopsMedia/Depreciated on the sourceforge svn...

I have had a go making more modern square logo based on open source images in GIMP they are on the SVN... I figured we could have a world there is 4 bisecting the planet that display depending on where sunup is; we will need to make a little api for this icons.xoops.org for getting the icon from; but the image will also be there...

#### Re: fonts4web.org.uk - font converter in xoops

Actually lucifier that what lead me to writing fonts.labs.coop it was gocr, which if you look at it there is a single font file in there that is used in training you can just put more fonts in the same file format a unlimited number of them as it trains quite quickly of these font file formats, which when I looked into the file format it was a rarity online...

We need some way on fonts.labs.coop tp wget recursively into the gocr directory like all script fonts to make it ocr hand writing for example...

#### Re: fonts4web.org.uk - font converter in xoops

Well no with any open source distribution like GPL2 you have to do in the code you notice in your code as GPL2+ACADEMIC for education facilities to be able to use it and include ACADEMIC like LICENSE which you will be able to get of this fonts thing, otherwise it isn't licensed really for education purposes...

#### fonts4web.org.uk - font converter in xoops

I am working on something for fonts.xoops.org on fonts4web.org,uk, bit snowed under with lots of projects on the main one I am working toward getting out is the module: Email Ticketer Please! but check this out I banged together from the code from fonts.labs.coop:--

Fonts 4 Web is a font converter that convert any variegate of a font file to all 29 required file for the web, it also provides preview, css as well as the font for TCPDF of the font you are converting so you can also use the TCPDF PHP Extension to generate fonts on the fly.

It is a really simple website to use you fill out the four fields for the licensing of the font to be written to you as a Creative commons – Share Alike + Academic in the details you put in as well as the shout via twitter account and then select any of the supported file types and press the upload.

Within a few moments you will be given a file in a zip format that contains all the font, the css, barcodes as well as preview and other files like LICENSE + ACADEMIC.

So make sure you check out http://fonts4web.org.uk

#### Re: xLanguage Definitive Answers

To Richard & Michael,

I have sent you a number of emails about setting up the APIs I have been working on while on holidays and recovering from an RSI Programming Injury which dymethal sulphone fixed me up 100%....

Couple of things XOOPS is a team and we even though you are new I am one of the older senior members; and I notice you have taken to much on your plate... currently the xoops.org website lookks appauling and really unprofessional and a number of times I have asked you to set up and account for me on the server which hasn't occured which is what I do normally maintain and fit things to the server for the team...

https://sourceforge.net/p/xoops/svn/HE ... in%20APIs%20&%20Sites%29/ --> is where all the API for the xoops.org domain is...

Also on a brighter note, I have managed to secure for us with ransomit.com.au a server with no cost associated which is above the performance of the one we pay for 100 dollar for... so it may be an idea to move XOOPS.org to this so we are running with no cost associated...

I am happy to work on a more professional theme maybe based on my complexity and at least set all the performance and permissions without any problems of people not being able to post or find anything..

Btw.. check out my temp testing area for fonts.xoops.org --> fonts4web.org.uk

Caoi
