It’s not seem to be a multimenu problem since I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it again in the main menu section without using multi at all…and the problem remains.

In addition with the strange theme behavior, I noticed that although I’ve assigned my anonymous users to see that pages…(by enabling the module access rights in user groups admin) they couldn’t see any except from the top level page...

It seems as the theme and access properties do not pass from the top level to the subs.
(I have updated the module as well)

In order to overcome it…I copy the contents of the sub folders to the main module folder and point them directly using the multimneu module….and it’s working.

So even if you using 2.2 and my page module but you don’t have submenus…the module is ok…

I’m using xoops2.2.2, multimenu 1.7 for 2.2.x and mypage module in order to display a couple of html static pages.

I’ve created a main menu item ITEM_A and two sub-nenu items ITEM_A1 and ITEM_A2…consequently inside the main folder(./modules/item_a_folder) I have I’ve created two children for my two submenus having the index.html files and some images (./modules/item_a_folder/item_a1_folder/ and ./modules/item_a_folder/item_a2_folder/)

Since the update to 2.2 the whole system worked fine….after that I noticed a strange effect:

Whenever I click to the main ITEM_A the corresponding page and the two dynamic submenus are visible…OK

Then if I click to one of them the page displayed having the default theme and not the one I’m using in my site (from 7dana.com).

I noticed that the footer.php and header.php that I have included (following the mypade template module) return different code.

Any ideas?

I’ve searched inside module’s repository and I found wordpress ME 0.3.3…is this thae latest stable version available?

Or do you know any mirror which is up-to-date?

a blog module for 2.2.x?

I’m thinking of installing a blog module in my XOOPS 2.2.2 site.

After a small workaround in support forums I found webblog 1.41 and simple blog and…but I noticed that are not compatible with 2.2.x

Anyway… any suggestions about a blog module?

Regarding my situation…

I’m using as default language the Greek…since we haven’t ready the complete greek translation for XOOPS 2.2.2 (the greek support site is on the run with our new site!) I followed a hybrid solution using the old translation for 2.0.x and many-many enflish terms.

By doing that…and because no extended profile module was present in past the xoopsmailer in register.php couldn’t find any Greek template in order to send the emails so…I had the above error message displayed, all, in my face.

As a solution I made a Greek folder (for the extended profiles modules) and the xoopsmailer and my register process– activation emails working fine.

maybe your ISP's MySQL server is unavailable for a while…I think you should call them for support.

I’m using zone alarm –not the pro edition- (for a couple of weeks) and I haven’t noticed any problems…

Indeed, I can’t see any images at all in your XOOPS site

By the way…using firefox1.0.6, your event calendar goes further from the area of the left column

or the wf-channel (I think) with the clone option using a perl script...

email activation to new users fails (not send)

After some time of changing and testing a couple of parameters in administration menu…like
-changing between PHP mail() - sendmail and vice-versa
-change the admin email from the default ISP domain email (admin@mydomain.net) to my personal one from mySQL tables.

I figured out that the broadcast feature works – send email to the registered users (ok!)
But,

Whenever I’m trying to register a new user although as admin I received a notification email that inform for the new arrival…the activation email to new user never send and instead of that the same massage is shown:

“You are now registered. However, we were unable to send the activation mail to your email account due to an internal error that had occurred on our server. We are sorry for the inconvenience, please send the webmaster an email notifying him/her of the situation.”

When I’m checking from admin panel the new user is inactive.
Plus…when I’choosing the automatic registration (without the activation email) is ok.

Any idea?
Do you known what kind of error indicates the above message?
Is any additional seting that I have to adjust in extended profiles module?
