I noticed the same problem. Sorry I didn't mention it (I was using Firefox on the PC and Safari on the Mac).

The code calls for a simple display hide/show, but I don't think that is particularly causing the mozilla problem. (The problem that I had in Mozilla is that the left nav took up almost the entire screen no matter what module was selected, and you have to scroll to the right to see the actual module content as well as the right nav panel.)

By the way, the person who designed the interface for HiveMail, Everaldo Coelho, also did the interface/icons for several linux programs (KDE 3.1, Kopete, KOffice, Kontact, and others) as well as the "Crystal" linux theme.

I'd LOVE to see a theme from him for Xoops!!! His work is fantastic!

You can see the original HiveMail proposal athttp://www.everaldo.com/portfolio.html (under Interface/Icons, click on HiveMail > Preview > Large Image).

I think it's also very interesting. A quick look at the source shows that it's part of the Gaining Mass theme (theme/gm).

Naughty Draven, however, has not hidden the files from prying eyes, such as mine. I right clicked on the close left tab, and found that, sure enough, it's an icon. Click on properties to find where the icon is located. You can copy the link and paste it in your browser to take a look at the location (and to find if there is an index.html or other method hiding it from view). So until Draven reads this post (which I hope he does soon), you can find the code for the theme athttp://gaining-mass.com/themes/gm/. I haven't downloaded the files yet, but I'm sure that the code you are seeking is there!

Hey there... it's going alright. I'm currently working through a couple of bugs before adding the other fields and modiying the output.

I expect that I should have made significant progress by this time next week.

Thanks!
Jeff

It's important to note, however that this isn't the ONLY logo that your site uses. There is also a logo found at /images/logo.gif. THIS logo graphic is used for such things as the print page for news, etc. You should replace this one, too, if you want a consistent look throughout your site.

You neeed to install the modules via the System Admin tool.

Go to Administration > System Administration > Modules.

You will see System at the top of the list. This one is automatically loaded. Below that are some modules that have not yet been loaded. Click on the little disk-like icon for each one to start the loading process.

Once your module is loaded, it will be in the upper part of the module administration window and the module will be active.

You should review the FAQ under section 12 of the Xoops Wiki. It's also linked as "Wiki Home" under the "Xoops Documentation" menu to the left, so you can find it easily every time! :)

iContent Link Error?

We use iContent for our general web page content. I'm finding, however, that whenever I use the relative link "/modules/..." or any other such link that does not start with "http://...", iContent assumes that it's a bad link and replaces it with the generic link to the iContent home page.

I'm sure that I can find where the error is in the code, but if anyone else has come across this, I'd appreciate the heads-up.

Thanks,
Jeff

I think I figured out the table creation problem. I had originally hard-coded the table name into the php pages, and I created the table directly in the database, so I forgot to remove the XOOPS prefix from the table when I exported the create table command.

I'll make some modifications per your requests. Is the email address the address for the Breeder? If that's the case, then I'll make the name clickable to bring up an email if the email address exists. No need to create a full separate field for that. Of course if you're wanting to print out a full list it would be nice, but I'm not including that kind of functionality in this initial release.

All of the fields in the listing table are sortable by the headers. Just click on them. :)... Sorry that I didn't include any instructions for that.

And yes, all fields are included in the search function. You can search for a particular color, breeder, etc in addition to searcing for a particular band. Note, too, that the search will search any part of the fields... you don't need to have the entire name or whatever to look something up. The results page for the search is not sortable at this time, but I'll sort it by the band initials by default.

My hosting service has my website offline at the moment for an upgrade, but when it's available again I'll put the PayPal link up on the site. Thanks for the offer! :)

You can also prevent someone from creating any user name that you want to reserve. These are found in the preferences in the system admin module. I would suggest a best practice would be to always reserve user names that are similar to your domain name as well as 'admin', 'webmaster', etc.

If you turn php debuggin on, i'm sure you'll see that the $block... variables are undefined. I'll bet you got them from the user login block :). You can't use these variables in your theme. $block. format is only for use in blocks.

Sorry I can't be more help to you right now. I, too, am interested in doing something like this, so I'll try to take a look at it later today.

Or maybe someone else will reply inthe meantime with some pre-set code! :) (Have you looked at any 7dana themes that might have it already?)
