Re: PICAL
OK, i see now the admin end is considerably better....but the appearance....it looks so damn ugly (the calendar itself and minical)!

Shouldn't be hard to modify though...Ill start working on it and pass it along!

I also like agendas quick links, as opposed to calendar images for view type.

Thanks for working on this joe!

You would want to use the one in 2.0.5 I think.
I also would like to use t, Ive been following it's progress. But not sure yet for security reasons whether I want to.

Never the less,
The information for it is commented out in 2.0.5.....

So look for threads regarding the 2.0.5 version and how to implement it.

(I'd tell you but I got lost myself following it...)

Make sure you are not including the body and head tags? (if you are just pasting it and not uploading it....

The only problem with all calendars I see throughout...is that not many events can be listed in the calendar month view...without them looking completely messed up!

So....Im wondering if we could figure out how to "tag" and event with an abbreviation, and have the "key" displayed on top....

does that sound like a possible good idea?

Also, Agendax still looks much better from what I can tell so far...and the multi-categories is good....
IMO: it would be better to just fix up the admin features in Agendax......

Just thinking out loud!

really? because I looked over someones example...and didnt see that much difference...in fact I like the flast view agendax offers. The admin area however is what seems to be the most different. The minical of agendax also "seems" to look better...but maybe that was just the example I saw....

Where is this website so Ican check it out?

Maybe?

hmmmmm
ok well can someone tell me ...

1)If you make a Private Forum "Public" how can you see the latest forum topics? Will the still be in private forum topics? Because they dont show up in the othe Recent Forum Topics....

c Im trying to keep just one forum topic seperate from the entire forum! But I hate manually adding people to the "private Forum", I just like that it has it's own block.....

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Ok I definately need a calendar module....
to be honest I love Agendax. But somewhere I got to test the admin of Pical which is nice.

The only problem with Agendax is the admin side.
Inserting multiple dates is time consuming (entering each date by nemerics for example).

Otherwise I dont see why one would switch. Can we figure out a way to improve the admin of Agendax?

Hmmmm, we'll see...

Hello, I know sounds strange, basically I wanted to have a seperate forum...topic block...so created a private forum...but with the number of users growing it is too much too maintain. This forum topic is basically "off -topic" from the theme of the site......

And, may even be slowing our site down. If I make the private forum "public" it wont show the topics from it in either the recent forum topics or the Private forum block. Thus I have begun the quest...the answer lies somewhere within here I think...

If anyone already has some suggestions I could sure use them...otherwise looks like another hack is coming soon....?

(I have suceessfuly replicate the Recent Forum topics to display in different places for annonymous and registered users....so...hmmmmm)
