Okay, I am attempting to use the Multi-Site Hack for XOOPS 2.0.13.2 I downloaded from
http://code-plus.org/wfdownloads+viewcat.cid+9.htm

I am using XOOPS 2.0.16. I am getting this error now:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/myworlde/public_html/construction/header.php on line 35

Line 35 is:
35: $xoopsLogger->stopTime( 'Module init' );
36: $xoopsLogger->startTime( 'XOOPS output init' );

Any ideas or suggestions?

Okay, I have installed and re-installed and RE-INSTALLED (and re-installed.)and followed the directions to the letter. SO I am giving up on multix. Doesn't appear to work on 2.0.16. It installs but after that you get a white screen when someone tries to register. Users in the database still can't log in to the secondary sites.

First, the instructions say do a new installation of XOOPS. Make sure you install a few modules like newbb before you apply the hack or else you get that error. (At least I did.) I will now continue trying to get it to work.

And here I go again. There HAS to be a way to make this module / hack work.

Once again, I followed the directions completely. Now I just get:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: sharedtable in /home/myworlde/public_html/construction/class/database/database.php on line 130

I'll work on THAT tomorrow. I am tired and need some sleep.

Goodnight everyone. You are all beautiful. Thank you for all the hard work and support.

I am going to try it again right now, fresh. From what I see it should be working. If not, maybe Nekro will figure it out tomorrow. I will definitely post what I find.

I have had the same problem before. The only solution I found was to not have the redirect masked. The same thing happens when you try to use an XOOPS site in an iframe across domains. It is a built in security feature. I think I read about a way to turn it off, but it sounded risky.

I still think that several sites could all have registration pages that write to all of the user databases at once... Am I wrong?

One or all of the sites could have a module admin to add in the links to the other pages' registration module page and it would just hit up all the databases whenever someone registered on any of them.
