Hi Guys,
I may be barking up the wrong tree but I noticed a problem with my XOOPS site when messing around today.

I've installed my site at a subdir or one domain ie http://www.mydomain/blah and XOOPS works fine, I then implemented forwarding from http://www.completelydifferentdomain.com to http://www.mydomain/blah as the domain hosts for my client sucks and I open the XOOPS site in a frame so the address bar stays the same.

During my testing phase I've been using Firefox on a linux machine and its all worked fine, but today when I was messing around on a windows machine with IE it kept on logging me out every time I clicked a link.

Is this a problem with opening XOOPS in a frame or am I looking in the wrong place?

I have had the same problem before. The only solution I found was to not have the redirect masked. The same thing happens when you try to use an XOOPS site in an iframe across domains. It is a built in security feature. I think I read about a way to turn it off, but it sounded risky.
