well i found an phpnuke module for jirc so i guess it can be done for XOOPS as well. all i can tell is the files need to be in the same place as the chat page. so if i put the html content in a block where would i put the jirc files to be in the same place? or i call it from the block somehow?

i had a look at the Module IRC 2.0

but unfortunatly you can't browes the site once logged into the irc chat module without getting disconnected. i guess making it pop up would do the trick but since jirc is well developed i wish to use it.

why doubt it? just because it's not free shouldn't mean people won't use it. anyhow if someone has this module intergrated with XOOPS let us know.

top news not showing

for some reason my "top news" and "recent news" is not showing anything?http://www.riolounge.com/modules/news/

i re updated the module and did a system module update but nothing worked. it has actually never worked.

looking in the content management repository there are a few article manger systems. however only a couple of them have been rated/commented. and i see no reviews at all on any of these modules. the most popular one seems to be "XT-Conteudo" , with it being the most downloaded and most recent and most commented. so i will try that one first.

like i said i own several vbulletin liscences and about to purchase more. having the liscence is not the issue. where to download the module is the problem. like where do i start or go?

can you provide instructions and links on where to go? do i regiswter on that site then email someone?

there is a misconception that it is illegal to do so also. the fact is you cannot distribute the vb software itself but it is perfectly ok to distribut the hack and instructions to do it. otherwise vbulletin.org would never have survived and it is hosted by jelsoft.

anyhow so i am not sure if he is actually going to make one or not now. you have inside info from the horses mouth? if so then thats fine.
