Well, I dont really know
Mainly because the auto-login makes XOOPS more vulnerable because someone could steal your password hash and login as the admin by making up the 2 cookies.

Heres what you should do.
Save any files you have in the modules dir, upload dir, your mainfile.php and themes.

Then download 2.0.13.1 (full, not upgrade)
Take out the modules dir, and save it some place
put those files you saved (modules dir, upload dir, your mainfile.php and themes) in, in the correct places of course.
Then put the modules dir back in. If you are using Newbb2, then you will need to remove the newbb dir before putting the modules folder back in and also for the news module as well.

You have to pretty much use the XOOPS upgrader to upgrade.

One option I suggest is you upload it to a test server on your own computer and perform the upgrade and then re-upload it to your server. There is that XOOPS MySQL Apache ... here
You'll need to follow the procedures on how to change site urls (to your localhost one).

Or, take the backup from 2.0.92 and simply run that version. Its stable! And you could even upgrade to 2.0.13.1.

Gotta love those developers. Worked hard for almost nothing.

I really dont get it at all.
Like in the case of YaBB SE, the Dev team left to create a totally new forum, SMF, which still isnt that great.
