xoops 2.0.15, wiwimod 0.83, and xoopseditor

Hi.

I installed wiwimod 0.83 on XOOPS 2.0.15.
This worked fine.
Then I wanted to add an editor, so uploaded the latest XOOPS editor (V1.01) in the class folder.

Then, suddenly, on the admin module page, the wiwimod icon - has gone... I moved the xoopseditor to a temp folder - the wiwimod icon came back and wiwi worked fine...

Any ideas why this could have happen??

Any fixes..?

Hi WarDick, or anyone else,

How exactly image upload does work on cbb 3.06 and XOOPS 2.0.15...?

I know how to do it from admin side - but would like to allow users to upload images..

Any hints?

it's cbb version 3.05 - seems I forgot that 0..

Hope it makes more sense now..

Hi,

I am trying to set a default editor, koivi, on cbb 3.5. Changed, on plugin.dist.php

$customConfig["editor_default"] = "";
to
$customConfig["editor_default"] = "koivi";

However there was no change in the editor..

Any suggestions??

Yes indeed, I was talking of Profiles.

I mentioned "profile" as that's how is it written on the 2.0.14 faq page - "Profile (for version 2.14)" -https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=613

Cbb 3.5 on XOOPS 2.0.14

Hi,

Somehow, I get buggy behaviour while trying to setup a Cbb 3.5 forum on XOOPS 2.0.14.

* Can not edit the default category - nor ad a new one. (..I get an empty box titled "Category Editing".

* Same behaviour occurs when trying to edit the forum.

I turned debug on - and it shows no errors.

Since I haven't seen a similar post, I have a feeling that I am probably missing something very basic..

Any ideas?

A question about open source rather than xoops specific

Hi,

Hope the following question is OK on this site, hence I put it on members lounge..

I happen to come up with an idea for a new open source software. (..the fact that tthe idea is for open source is an integral part of the software..)

However, to go ahead with the project idea, I feel that I should try to find if other people want to help develop it.

So the question is - does anyone have an idea of a site/forum where I might be able to present the idea and get feedback..?

Thanks a lot, and apologies if this seems too off topic here. I tried to find a suitable forum but couldn't. Since I know there are a good few open source programmers here - I thought maybe a suitable clue could be found here..

editors that work on macs

Hi,

I have installed tiny editor but it doesn't show up on a mac when using content module.
Also tried inBetween - but no joy either..

Both editors work great on a pc...

Any ideas for mac users..?
