Oki... I found why...

My page was encoded with UTF-8. I needed to leave it to western encoding

Hello ^_^.

I didn't know how to put that in the title.

I've a website to help people with their japanese studies. I'm making a section where they'll be able to search japanese / chinese characters [kanji / kana].

BUT... I've a problem when sending information with my form. I actually have weird characters displayed in the page which receive the information.

When I do a search on my website with XOOPS search block, it handles it nice.

So, I'd like to know how you do to obtain a request like that :
http://www.japanese-kanji.org/search.php?query=%26%2326085%3B&action=results

cause when I do the same request with my "simple" form, I obtain that :
query=%E6%97%A5 instead of query=26%2326085%3B like you...

Can you help me please?

Thanks in advance!!

And yes, I'm happy too ^o^.

Great :).

As I've installed xfguestbook, a thing is cool with this one. People can say from which country they are. I like to know where people come from ^o^.

And I think there is also this possibility about *user login* on xfguestbook ^-^...

I just hope this other guestbook will work fine now :).

Oki.

My custom page is the following one :
http://www.japanese-kanji.org/kanji/

I've made it without any management modules cause xfsection seemed to have problems with php code...

On this page, all the blocks on the left are visible cause they are set to be visible on all pages. The blocks on the right aren't visible cause they are just set to be visible on some pages...

I'd like some of the right blocks to be visible on this custom page.

I also though about making a module but it seems I'd time to understand how it works... Well, maybe I should try anyway ^o^.

Oki ^-^.

I'm not sure if I'll leave this module as well... It seems that some users can't sign it. I don't know why, they write their message, it's said "ok", then their message doesn't appear... Weird...

I'm trying another guestbook called "xfguestbook" ^-^.

This thread is quite old, but I'd like to thank you for this idea Ghoti ^-^.

I was searching for one hour how to make this php code works without any success... Then, I tried your idea with my php file and it's working now!

Instead of an image, I call the page -> include "mypage.php";

^O^.

Thanks ;)

If someone could help us ^_^.

Oki, as the *hacker* left his email address, I contacted him, and he mailed me back saying me the problem. It seems it was really because of this permission setting.

Hummm... A lot of websites say "change the permission to 777 if it doesn't work with other permission". Take care people or you could being hacked (I'm lucky that the person who did that was nice...).

Thanks, I'll try that...

Just hope it'll work ;-(...

I've read that :
http://www.phpsecure.info/v2/tutos/frog/InvisionPowerBoard.txt

about some problems with ipb, but my file was already secured... I don't know how he was able to get access to my config file...
