hello,
while there is the usage of inline style in the module templates you can change everything in your css file without having effects to those elements with preferences used in this inline style description.
You will have to change the style direct in the template in this case.
You are talking about the system redirect page. Have a look at:
Template Set Manager »» default »» system »» system_redirect.html
do you find similar than:
<div style="text-align:center; background-color: #EBEBEB; border-top: 1px solid #FFFFFF; border-left: 1px solid #FFFFFF; border-right: 1px solid #AAAAAA; border-bottom: 1px solid #AAAAAA; font-weight : bold;">
Change background or colour to you needs, done!

Looking into source of your website it is strange, that there is no title of each article where it sould belong.
It looks like you put the title e.g < strong > WELCOME TO THE CALIFORNIA ELECTION PROTECTION NETWORK < /strong > within the article and the heading < h2 > < a href=".../modules/wordpress/?p=17" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to " >< /a >< /h2 > is empty?
Is this intended?

sorry, this does absolutely NOT belong into the DL file, I might have overseen it while packing the DL's.
I'm using a logger script to log my sites but this should not be there where you've found it
I edited the files and uploaded new DL's again.

hello toddherold,
thanks for comments on this theme. Some say my css themes are buggy and things, of course i do see this from another point of view, but yes there are some problems using some modules without editing their modultemplates.
In this case newbb is using a:
"<div class="clear"></div>"
(and in css a clear:both;)
I don't know for what it is there and I'm of the humble opinion that clearings only clear floats any nothing else.
In this case it overwrites/deletes my floatings which are used in theme.
erasing the "<div class="clear"></div>" in modultemplates of newbb will solve the problem in your case.
There are some other issues reported. Themes with full width do not display table width=100% as intended. I'm working on a woraround on this.
