OK, my site is using black as background color and white as font.

The problem is when logging in or registering. The feedback / announcement cant be seen. It is because the "Thank You for logging in [user]" is in white while the background is also white.

Where can i change this? Its frustrating when I'm changing something and wanted to see the comment.

while there is the usage of inline style in the module templates you can change everything in your css file without having effects to those elements with preferences used in this inline style description.

You will have to change the style direct in the template in this case.

You are talking about the system redirect page. Have a look at:

Template Set Manager »» default »» system »» system_redirect.html

do you find similar than:

<div style="text-align:center; background-color: #EBEBEB; border-top: 1px solid #FFFFFF; border-left: 1px solid #FFFFFF; border-right: 1px solid #AAAAAA; border-bottom: 1px solid #AAAAAA; font-weight : bold;">

Change background or colour to you needs, done!
