Thanks for your reply. I suspect as much.
Need to read up more on IIS then.

BTW-did you switch over to apache?

Ive had several problems since update to 2.0.18.1.
POarticulary with Yogurt and the Mastop modules (all of which I love but cant get to work on the main site).

However, these problems don't exist on local installs with apache. The only difference appears to be that the remote host is using IIS.

Been trying to find something specific to IIS and XOOPS because so far thats the only variable that is completely different than local test site. I could be wrong of course.

Either way, I began to discover that there is very little documentation specific to IIS and the XOOPS relationship.
And trying to find more. Something must not be enabled or permissions must be off that is specific to how IIS operates..

~thanks

Ok so there is NOOOOOOOOOOOO
support at all for IIS issues. (Been asking questions related to it for weeks and no answers.) But fortunately I did learn that IIS-resources evolved into

http://www.iis-aid.com

spcifically Here -With XOOPS in the search field result

And there are several articles contained within related to xoops. And I certainly plan on asking some questions there too! LOL.

So hopefully that at least is another resources which will help those of us who are not on apache!

-cheers

If you find any others please share..thanks!

aside from the Editor problems that have been reported is anyone having trouble with the mastop modules and 2.0.18.1?

Cant get either mastop to go , or mastop publish to work.
and was wondering if it was because of our recent upgrade.

Both fine modules running on other sites, but Keep getting the following

"error while saving into the database"

its driving me batty and cant find any support for these great modules.

Thanks in advance-

php 5
mysql 5
IIS 6

nothing but blank pages..anyone? debug only reports as Ive said earlier. :(

Now the only thing I can surmise is that its a module conflict. Have a lot of modules. this will take some time. :)

Never the less strange cant get it to work on the remote site.

Got green on all the below-
Mysql Version:5.0.27 You must use a version higher than 4.1
GD extension loaded: OK! Here is more info on: Gd Library
You have a compatible version of PHP: 5.2.0
You have version 1.22 of the Frameworks package
Your server limits the size of uploads to 8M

Should work!
Also had that problem and was fixed with same method as well as well. Sorry I woulda shared that sooner, but thought your problem was different.

So while this issue is fixed...what happens when you try to login with the wrong password--please share if you find yourself in a perpetual (wrong password) loop.

-thanks

IIS support?

I love that everyone has apache, our local has apache but the server we actually use has IIS. And things work locally that dont work remotely. Does anyone know where we can get additional support for IIS and XOOPS relationship? Really think a lot of issues lately are related to IIS.

iis-resources used to be great but I think its splintered off itself.

Any others?

Thanks for the feedback!

RE:Hiding Profiles from anonymous users

Hi just wanted to see if the old last fix (I guess one could call it a hack) for this was the one we still use. I tried it and it works, but I wondered if there was another way now?

Another reference link

*Hope is added as admin option in the future. Would go well with user info admin options perhaps.
