I'm wondering if I can make "Home" on the Main Menu a link to my home page which is not in Xoops?

Xoops was installed and configured by a previous employee. I'm still learning things. We're about to deploy a new website created in Dreamweaver... can I apply my Dreamweaver template to XOOPS so I can maintain the look and feel of my site?
Thanks

Xoops was installed and configured by a previous employee. I've figured out quite a bit, but I need to add a PDF employee directory to our secured area.

I've downloaded and installed some data management modules, but I'm wondering - do I need such a cumbersome module for just one PDF file? Thanks

I guess I'll either find another forum or an entirely new product.

Still learning.. a couple of easy? questions..

1.) I want to completely remove the 'user menu' on my guestbook.. it is a public guestbook and the user's don't need to see this menu. Is this possible to do?

2.) I want to embed my guestbook into Dreamweaver. I tried to apply my dreamweaver template to my guestbook index.php page, but it was grayed out- any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your time!

Ok, I've just figured out how to open phpMyAdmin/MySQL and change the old guy's password and other info. (figures.. once I start a post, I answer my own question - at least I think).
I've opened up the www.webpage mysite.com/xoops/admin
I'm going to play around now...

I've got a client who has XOOPS installed and is actively using much of the functionality. The person who set it up was fired. Now I have to go in and make some minor changes to a variety of forms. I've done a little with PHP and MySQL in the past...

Xoops is installed on the website server. However, upon reading some tutorials, I have tried to set up a local version of it so I can play around with some things w/o screwing anything up. So far I have installed XOOPS 2.0.18, XAMPP, Apache.. and A BUNCH OF OTHER THINGS.

I'm just trying to access the XOOPS user interface.. and I'm so burnt out with dead ends. The closest I have come is typing inhttp://localhost/ in Firefox and getting a webpage that says: "It Works!"

Can anybody help me?
