When will XOOPS 2.4.5 Final be released?

By the way, following the latest financial report issued by XOOPS, there will also be a final version called XOOPS 2.4.6 before the issue of XOOPS 2.5. Is XOOPS 2.4.6 still in progress?

After the release of XOOPS 2.4.6 Final, there will not be any version for XOOPS 2.4.X and the next release will be 2.5.0.

Maybe it is caused by multi-domains/sites running in the hosting account, which affects shared resource and speed of each domain/site.

The recent release of 2.4.3 is wonderful and it is great that a new road map is paved in the Annual Report 2008-2009 (Draft). Really hope XOOPS 2.6 or 3.0 will beat other CMSs and become the No. 1 Hit CMS used in the world.

I had the same problem with you when upgrading from 2.3.3 to 2.4.3.

I finally found out that the file:

\htdocs\xoops_lib\modules\protector\class\registry.php

is missed in the upgrade package.

So you may try to download the full package of 2.4.3 and copy the file:

\htdocs\xoops_lib\modules\protector\class\registry.php

to your TRUST_PATH's lib folder:

[Your TRUST_PATH lib folder]\modules\protector\class\registry.php

to see if the problem is solved.

After copying the file from the full package, I can access my Admin page again and update all modules.

SaaS web application using XOOPS as platform

We have a plan to develop SaaS (Software as a Service) web application to provide ERP, CRM, HRM, etc. services to our clients. As XOOPS is our favourite, just wonder if XOOPS can be used as a platform for hosting these SasS web application.

Is there any website already using XOOPS for this purpose? Please give us some examples.

Running XOOPS 2.4 Final in a Netfirms server

Hi, all!

I have installed XOOPS 2.4 Final in a Netfirms server under their Advantage Hosting plan and found that the loading time of the first page is over 15 seconds (even though the site is closed and only the login page is load). Is it normal?

Does the URL rewrite module affect the loading time of the XOOPS site?

I really want to use XOOPS 2.4 instead of static HTML pages (of course, static HTML pages are load more quickly) for the website. Any suggestion?

Is there any updated newsletter module compatible with XOOPS 2.3.x? The current modules in XOOPS module category are all long time ago and I am afraid of compatibility problems with my current website using XOOPS 2.3.x. I want to send newsletter to the registered users of my site in HTML/plain text format.
