Hey all,

It's been a while. I haven't been active for a while in the XOOPS community and to be honest I haven't been active at all for quite some time (due to some health problems which seem to have been solved now).

I moved my XOOPS site from www.montisarts.comto xoops.montisarts.com, because I want to use my main domain for other purposes.

In the meantime I built a new theme for my site (tried to build it from the ground up in xoops) and I would like to know what you guys think.

you can watch it as my standard theme on xoops.montisarts.com

I based the design on one made for a client of mine. (a non-xoops one)

I left the right block out and tried to make XOOPS look as ordinary as possible.

Suggestions, bug report and other messages are welcome in my forum or here as I like to build a series of one basic idea and just change colours and stuff. So waht I am looking for is a theme to build a few on.

greetz Frank (and I hope I can be supportive of the community again from now on, even if it's every now and then)

I did a fresh install of xoops, didn't install newbb1.x, deleted the dir of newbb en uploaded version 2.1.

I would say that is a fresh install? (not sure)
But I am not able to delete posts/topics either...

I use NewBB pro and it works fine so far. Although I lost all my topics trying to install it. I have to say though that this was my own fault. If you overwrite newbb and then do the update scripts included in the download everything works fine. And as far as the changes made in the SQL, there's also a 'downgrade' script included in the download. So once Newbb 2.0 arrives you just 'downgrade back to newbb and then upgrade to Newbb Pro...

Sounds good? ;)

Like Karedokx sais, no apologies required, not at all.

Thanks for responding to this topic though Horacio.
I hope to see your next and maybe final release in the downloads section here soon. In the meantime let me know if you found a fix for the comments block. I can live with the other bugs for now hehehe, but this one makes users complain to me

I don't think development has stopped as I think you can read HERE. But the question for me is whether the comment bug will be fixed idd, because that is the major bug for me. Other little bug don't bother me as much as this one.

Hey all,

I am using soapbox v1.5RC2 and I am having trouble with the commentsystem. When I enable comments commenting works fine untill I post a comment. Then the comments 'block'disappears and I have to tuirn it back on again in the admin.

I know this is a known bug in soapbox but I was wondering if there is anyone who has come across a solution for this.

Tom,

Your rank should be XOOPS Funniest Member, lol.

Thanks for explaining with the patience I couldn't bring myself to get

Although YH would probably ask what funny is...

What is so hard to understand about 'Xoops Documentation Writer' , I think the ranks are pretty self explaning...
That's what I mean by 'reading'.

I do have problems understanding your rank though, since I read a lot of posts where you seem to be agueing bout something.

And this is not public bashing, but I'm just pretty annoyed by the negativity spread by some members since the Christmas greetings.
