I guess I don't know how to get the wysiwyg up and running. The module doesn't seem to use the xoopseditor path and I don't have a wysiwyg directory in XOOPS 2.3.3. Confused....

You could try updating the module from the system admin.
Or there could have been a problem with the upload of the module. In that event deactivate the module, uninstall the module, delete the module and then re-upload the module and install it again.

Ok, I know it is there somewhere but I can't find where to tell CBB to display the newest post first. Specifically when using the Recent Topics block on top page. I want when a person clicks on the recent topic that they be taken to the most recent post/reply to that topic. Where be that setting?

You can already create your own groups or clubs by going to admin/groups There you can create a new group (call the group what you want), grant accesses to modules, and blocks etc. Then all you have to do is add a member(s) to the group(s) you created.

I am using Marquee 2.46 on XOOPS 2.3.3. I have set up a marquee similar to the one here on xoops.org at the top. I have a couple of places I would like to have a space between like here on xoops.org but I can't figure out the code to use for it or how to do it. I have tried [tab] and that didn't work. Any help greatly appreciated...

Wordpress does do this. When a person clicks to read a blog they can see the Author's name or user id up in top with title, category: specifically filed under: (some)Category Name - (some)author. If you hover over the author's name you will see that it is for clicking on and viewing all other posts by that person/user.

Additionally, there is a block in Wordpress which allows you to show Wordpress Authors. If you set this block to show on the Blog Page then you will have a list of Blog Authors/Posters and all one has to do to see all their posts is to click on their name. Edit the block to set the count of how many authors/posters you want to show in the block.

Hope this helps,

To add a link is fairly simple and you can find the answer here: TCNET Post
https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=69123&forum=4&post_id=315649#forumpost315649

As for another page wrapped in XOOPS you can check the FAQs for how to do this under most viewed questions at the top.

I discovered within the CBB Admin itself and not the Groups permision there seemas to be actually two types of permissions. One is a general overall permission and the other deals with the created forum which allows you to set the forum itself to default permision or modify the particular forums permisions.
The other is from the CBB Admin Dashboard. PERMISIONS check that out as it is like the overall master for categories and forums access etc. Especially if you added new group etc. Or new Categories.

I had created a bunch of new Categories and forums for the categories, set the forums permissions but none were showing up. Until I checked the main CBB dashboard PERMISSIONS.

Hope this helps,
Quest
