I had a simmilar thing, upgraded, worked, installed something... (dont what it was, could be a block). And got white pages... All i could do was delete everyting. Must be a bug with a non-compatible module...
These are Unix/linux shell script files. U can only execute then on a linux/unix machine with shell access. So _not_ on a webhost... U can compare it with batch files in windows. 2bad there isnt a windows batch file for this...
