I have had a simlar problem like this.

I have found it is related to the import command used by includes/functions.php file to import the stylesheet.

<style type='text/css' media='all'><!-- @import url($themecss); --></style>

For some reason IE can be a little buggy with the import function. It would not display certain elment if i went directly to the page, but if i use the back button it would and some other problems (on IE 6)

So i just used a hard link to the stylesheet in the functions.php files and worked prefect for me then.

densma - you can find that code in language/english/global.php. Or change english to whatever language pack you are using as default. The code you are looking for is this

define("_NOPERM","Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this area.");

In your case you just need to go to your admin control panel and then system and groups. There you will see your access rights. Adjust access of the forum for your anonymous group.

I've been getting this error message when annonymous users try to access the forum. I've tried re-setting the chmod's and going into phpMyAdmin............. but, i'm relatively new at all of this, and nothing seems to be working...


help?

I've been using HostRocket for almost a year now too. And I agree....I've had a couple small issues (nothing I would call a deal-breaker) and they've been fixed quickly. I've been very pleased with them. Uptime has been fabulous.....support response has been quick and effective.

I've got the same hosting package as freeop.....

No Problem

I just think its better doing it that way that having to do it manually (which takes ages) or downloading another mod to fix the problem which would use up more web space.

And some people dont like getting their hands dirty by going into php. I dont like it either, but sometimes I have to do it
