There is no differences between the structures of tables myAlbum 1.1.3 and myAlbum-P 2.0.0.

You can transfer like this:

1. Backup 4 tables --- xoops_myalbum_photos, xoops_myalbum_cat, xoops_myalbum_text, and xoops_myalbum_votes. (neednot with xoops_myalbum_comments)
2. check the full paths of photos and thumbs.
3. upgrade XOOPS from 1.3.x to 2.0.x.
4. install myAlbum-P 2.0.0 cleanly.
5. restore 4 tables.
6. set paths of photos and thumbs into preferences of myAlbum-P.

I installed the most recent and most complete looking hack to fix the login problem and it didn't do anything (can't remember which one). After reading all the posts and looking at the 3-4 hacks, I still don't know any more than I did before.

So, I'd be interested in any responses to this question as well.

Can you make the newbb module open to the non-regsited public, so we can look at it?

Chad, I enjoy to hack and share for multilingual. Well, I should say many thanks to you all first. You all start my engine to hack XOOPS.

In Admin->News->Modify Topic, it would decode the topic title if we try to modify it. We have to retype all again for all language title. But I found XOOPS is Good and well prepared. Lets correct this file.

Open /modules/news/admin/index.php

goto line 241 in function modTopic()

modify Quote:
<input type='text' name='topic_title' size='20' maxlength='40' value='".xt->topictitle().

tobe Quote:
<input type='text' name='topic_title' size='50' maxlength='50' value='".xt->topictitle('E').

This function used default format 'S' 4show (but we hacked). The function has been well prepared to accept parameter 'E' 4Edit format which we should use in this file.

Hope XOOPS developer update this file.

PS. I changed maxlength of title to 50 as database defined, and thinking why XOOPS defined 40 in this file.

Hi all,

in the module wfsection, when I add a comment to an article that is restricted to specific user groups, the 'recent comments' block of the XOOPS system also displays the comment for users that don't belong to one of the groups specified in the articles section.

If the user klicks the comment link, he get's an error message saying that he is not permitted to view the article.

How can you exlude those wfsection comments in the 'recent comments' block from being displayed to users, not belonging to one of the user groups specified in the corresponding section ??

Thanks in advance !

I see what you mean, I will sort this for the next version. I will post a fix for you here ASP
