Hi,

i've created a HTML block in XOOPS 2. I can preview it and it works fine. When i activate the block it does not show.

I want to display it in the center as the first item as a sort of 'Welcome' block.

Anyone got a clue why it is not visible?. I can see the title of the block but not the text within that block.

Njit

When I click the "Tell a friend" Button in the modules/Themes section in this site. My email client IncrediMail Xe prompt and display the following in the email content field.

Here%20is%20a%20good%20file%20to%20download%20at%20XOOPS%20Official%20Site%3A%20%20http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xoops.org%2Fmodules%2Fmydownloads%2Fsinglefile.php%3Fcid%3D12%26amp%3Blid%3D118

Is it a problem of my OS or my email client?
How can I solve it?

Hi, I made a site running on xoops, idea was to create a site, where there are some authors with rigts to post articles and news and other group - registered users, who can only recieve username, so they could post comments not anonymosly. So I created new group (let's call it: powerusers:)), with the same permissions as anonymos users, but the thing, taht turns out is that all registered users can post news and articles and so on. How can I make a group for registered users, who cannot post anything?

I assume you're using the same root user/password combination in XOOPS setup. Do you have the server set to 'localhost' or whatever it should be? Double-check the spelling of everything. Whch version of XOOPS are you running? One early version of 2.0.4 (I think it has been repackaged now) had a small problem in the installer which gave this error.

I would also recommend creating a MySQL user for XOOPS instead of using 'root'. That way you can give access just to the XOOPS database and not all databases running on your server.

I've just finished rolling in a bunch of fixes from both the community and myself into the XoopsGallery module. To save other users some time, I've packaged the updated files into a fresh distribution bundle.

I would like a few testers (roughly 2-4) to try it first, to help work our any installation kinks or clarify the instructions included. If you have some time to test out the module and would like to help, send me a PM and I'll give you the URL to download it from.

Thanks to everyone who contributed their XoopsGallery patches to these forums.

Fixes included are:
* Update xoopsgallery_images and xoopscomments table on album rename
* Set of patches from SirTanksAlot
* Fix for comments disappearing with nav buttons from bugger
* Fixed Shutterfly link from darapera
* Comments working with help from core team in XOOPS 2.0.5rc+
* Remove undeclared constant from require('init.php') lines to prevent warning
* Too many other fixes, lost track!
