Need testers for XoopsGallery maintenance update

I've just finished rolling in a bunch of fixes from both the community and myself into the XoopsGallery module. To save other users some time, I've packaged the updated files into a fresh distribution bundle.

I would like a few testers (roughly 2-4) to try it first, to help work our any installation kinks or clarify the instructions included. If you have some time to test out the module and would like to help, send me a PM and I'll give you the URL to download it from.

Thanks to everyone who contributed their XoopsGallery patches to these forums.

Fixes included are:
* Update xoopsgallery_images and xoopscomments table on album rename
* Set of patches from SirTanksAlot
* Fix for comments disappearing with nav buttons from bugger
* Fixed Shutterfly link from darapera
* Comments working with help from core team in XOOPS 2.0.5rc+
* Remove undeclared constant from require('init.php') lines to prevent warning
* Too many other fixes, lost track!

Great news! I have been waiting for an update too long. I look forward to the release update.

hey .. i want betatest
atm i use the old version with some fixes i found in the forum

comments r disable cause the known bug...
but i will activate the beta version..

what about the zip support..
i have large albums and want upload zips..

Sorry, no ZIP support. I just fixed what was there, I didn't add any new features and AFAIK there isn't any form of ZIP support in there. You can add pics with "upload any images found at this location"--so with that and a shell account it's possible to zip, transfer, unzip, add.

Looks like a fun place

click on add fotos
Add Photos
Click the Browse button to locate a photo to upload.
Tip: Upload a ZIP file full of photos and movies!

u see the tip?

btw i updated my gallery sucessful
running ur version without problems

I hope you will manage to sort out the bugs. I get when clicking on a thumbnail 'ERROR: requested index [-1] out of bounds [1]' Tried uninstall/reinstall with no joy. Using the default module in the donwload section without any modification or hacks.

You aren't using the updated version--that was the 1.3.3 that you downloaded and are currently using (with all it's bugs). If you want to join the test of the new version, send me a PM and I'll get you the URL to download the updated package.

Yes, I see it now... You know, as many times as I've looked at that dialog you would think that I'd have noticed it! I'll take a look when I get some time, but it will likely be after I get this release out (to avoid too much confusion).

...and of course I'm willing to accept a patch if anyone else has fixed this already...

nobody knows anything about the unzip stuff?

I've found the source, it looks intact but I'll have to dig deeper to find out why it's not allowed at this time. I also have the original gallery code to peek at, so I should be able to figure it out eventually. Now if someone has already fixed the ZIP support in XoopsGallery it would certainly be appreciated if they could submit it
