Is there a module or hack that will allow the news module to produce and update an RSS feed any time news is updated on the page?

I checked out your site and what you have is very close to what I'd like to do - BTW, your site is very nice!
I would actually like to post the restaurants menus as well as other restaruant info. and possibly even have an "Online Reservations" system.

I think I may start out with the same setup you have and try to create my own module later.

Are you looking to enhance that area of your site too?

You can change the sort order by the:
Administration -> Modules
In the order field you can input the sequential numbers for sorting the menus at Control Panel.

Since the home link is not a module, you would have to delete this in the -block main menu template. Its a simple reference to XOOPS URL. Of course you cant edit your tempplate until you are using a copy of the defauolt set (which is cool and acts as a backup).

Thats one way,
People like myself find the home link useful because my start up page is not "NEWS".

Hope that helps

You can change this values to alter the forum characteristics:

.outer {font-size: 10px; border: 1px solid silver;}
.head {font-size: 11px; background-color: #c2cdd6; padding: 5px; font-weight: bold;}
.even {font-size: 10px; background-color: #dee3e7; padding: 5px;}
.odd {font-size: 10px; background-color: #E9E9E9; padding: 5px;}
.foot {font-size: 10px; background-color: #c2cdd6; padding: 5px; font-weight: bold;}
tr.even td {font-size: 10px; background-color: #dee3e7; padding: 5px;}
tr.odd td {font-size: 10px; background-color: #E9E9E9; padding: 5px;}

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a homepage where I can check the status quo of the new version and where I can add feature request as a 4images and photopostphp user?

The "new version" is a bit broader sounding than what I'm actually doing here. This is really a maintenance / bugfix only update that I'm doing. I gathered the patches from others and myself into a single full package update so others don't have to.

The XoopsGallery is based on Gallery 1.3.3, Gallery itself is up to version 1.4, and they are working on a version 2. Also, there is a "Nuked Gallery" for postnuke sites although I haven't checked that out yet. Ideally, now that this is a bit more stable, someone will take the ball and get a XOOPS branch of that Nuked Gallery project to keep it current.

As for current status, I've asked for a few testers to help out. If you're interested, send me a PM.

That's 5 1/2 hours Internet time... practically a lifetime!

Thanks for the tips, I'll try incorporating them into my XoopsGallery update.
