Hi,

I do not know whether this is a bug or whether this was made by purpose. But if I do a search with XOOPS 2.04 and get the results displayed, I can not click on the articles displayed to open them directly (for FAQ and news).

Is this on purpose and is there any "workaround hack" available?

thanks

As an alternative, you can use a home page replacement like iMenu or MyMenu. I've tried iMenu and like it, but I've heard good things about MyMenu as well.

go to modules/system/language/english/blocks.php

look for this line:

define("_MB_SYSTEM_HOME","Home"); // link to home page in main menu block

Change "Home" to whatever you wish

How could this hack (the code) been done and in which file and at which place?

I am not familiar with php but would like to have this "open new window" functionality for the search results.

He's talking about the way the modules are ordered on the admin page, not the mainmenu. And yes, i'd like to know this too.

Nice site, seems to do what it has to do

Btw, I see that you use Priorweb as hoster, I'm very happy about them, hope you think the same

Yes, it's built in to the XOOPS core. You can refer to backend.php, which generates such a feed. Just try www.xoops.org/backend.php

mmmmh, sounds like I should keep it for the moment as it is...

Do you know where I can change the name on the button itself ("homepage") to something different so that my users are not getting confused by seeing twice that name for different pages?

Thanks
