sort of: because the users ignore a second mail because it looks like the same subject line.

On further thought it would be better that the mails subject line said

xhelp action: ticket subject

so this would translate as:

xhelp Ticket logged: Broken Printer

xhelp Response: Broken Printer

or similar.

Just wanted to add my thanks, that its a great module, and has been really helpful to me,

just need to find a decent IT Hardware asset manager to go with it

When xhelp sends out email for ticket loggged, changed etc the subject line is always:

{"site name"]-xhelp action

so the uninformed user in an unexpanded mail application sees 2 or 3 mails that seem to be the same (when they aren't really)

when I really want the mail subject line to be the ticket subject, is it possible to hack this (does not seem possible in the email templates) and if so how.

In the front page list of entries on the weblog module, the entries are too close together and need an extra line.

it ends up like this

previous entry...blah blah

Have i missed out a module or done something wrong?

hmm, a while ago I had problems with a previous XOOPS site (xoops2) and then I gave up on it, but I have since come back to XOOPS (this is sounding like a BT advert) with the site at www.MacMEND.com.

MY question is, I still have all the sql databases from the old site is it possible to reconnect to them, I have all the log/password/database name info.

If it is possible, how, I have tried uploading XOOPS and all the modules i had before, and re installing, and using the old database to connect to, but it seems it won't let me, anyone know anything along these lines.

I installed newbb2 which works very well

However in the preferences I get this

Xoops Poll Module: Available
ImageMagicK: Not available
NetPBM: Not available
GD1 library: Not available
GD2 library: Not available
Path for attachment storing: /home/mylogin/public_html/myfolder/uploads/newbb/ ( Available )
Path for attached image thumbs: /home/mylogin/public_html/myfolder/uploads/newbb/thumbs/ ( Available )

does this mean my host does not have netpbm or imagemagick installed, can I install it just for my site, and if so how?? Whats is the GD1 and GD2 library.....Or have i missed something?

I would also be interested in this... especially if it intergrated with xhelp

xasset is really about managing access to assets where I think the kind of module we are looking for is one that records and counts assets in an interrelational database sort of way
