I cannot get banners to display on my site, and I thought I might be able to get them to display in a block, could anyone tell me what i wouold need to put ina block to make the XOOPS banners display.

No, your theme doesn't have the banner code in it ;)
However, if you want a banner directly below the header, in between the left and right columns, look in theme.html for

I believe the same will work in a custom block, if you select html as the block type.

If it is in a custom block it needs to be

echo xoops_getbanner();

and set the block type to php

I had laready tried editing the theme in different ways and no success, I have tried both these suggestions but cannot get the banners to appear!
