Did you try with different browsers?

Which XOOPS version?

Did you do a search? (preferably with google and quoting the phrase "This is your first time to enter")?

There is a large topic over multiple pages which holds a whole lot of things to try.

Please simply bump the original topic if you get no reply.

Crossposting is not the answer.

Someone around to close this one?

What do you expect us to do ... poking in the dark?

Please read the following sticky first ... follow it and then get back to us because otherwise you might end with no reply the same way as the original poster.

Ok a bit late feedback. This is partially solved and not a server issue per se:

a) CBB 3.08 was already installed and therefore it was more about the error 134 which has been declared as unimportant and more of a cosmetic problem.
In this case the error was gone after emptying (NOT dropping!) the tables newbb_forums_read and newbb_topics_read which seem to hold only the values to remember last read information of the users.
However searching this forum will show you other people had other solutions and surely other tables involved.

Response to the original question can be found here

b) Solution for the IMG tag problem can most likely be found here: (did not test this locally though)

CBB IMG case insensitive

*grabbing popcorn*
*taking a seat and enjoying the show*

This promises to get really funny ...

-----------------------------------

ok a little more productive. Sorry to say these comments are not archived on webarchive.org (at least yet and its unsure if they will ever be) They usually have a delay of 6 month > before stuff will be publicly visible.

However since the comments were most likely (very very very likely actually) present when x.o changed servers you could ask the council if they can make a backup under a subdomain available at least to the current guys working on the module repository which as luck will have it are at least partially on the XOOPS council too. So they could retrieve comments as they seem fit.

One more thing ... try contacting them directly. Could bring you more success than continuing it in this thread.

nuff said.

Thanks dj. I assume that the answer to question 2 is yes then too.

@John:
Thanks, did not work on the site i am helping out with this issue right now. From searchresults it seems anyway that the error occurs in different tables i guess because different actions work differently for multiple people.

- That link leads to a 404 errorpage
- did you try with the XOOPS default theme?
( i dont rememeber anyone posting this error before so i would suspect its something with your installation and theme is first that comes to mind)
- did you clear templates_c when testing?

CBB 3.08 Error: Got error 134 from storage engine (dj?)

Hi,

just checking up on this since there are multiple topics but none of those i found ended with a clear statement or they are not accessible anymore.

One discussion already took place for cbb 3.07 where dj made it sound like it would most likely be just a rendering issue of the error message. (link)

Now other discussions points to information on the dev.xoops.org forum which as many of you know is not available anymore and might possibly not be restored (with the old data that is) at all.

So i am looking for confirmation on this issue:

- cbb 3.08 throws the error mentioned in the subject on updating the module and synching the forums

- in my case it affects these:

DELETE bb FROM xoops_bb_reads_forum AS bb LEFT JOIN xoops_bb_reads_forum AS aa ON bb.read_item aa.read_item WHERE aa.post_id bb.post_id
Error number
1030
Error message
Got error 134 from storage engine

and

DELETE bb FROM xoops_bb_reads_topic AS bb LEFT JOIN xoops_bb_reads_topic AS aa ON bb.read_item aa.read_item WHERE aa.post_id bb.post_id
Error number
1030
Error message
Got error 134 from storage engine

1. is it really just bad error rendering and has no further effects? (cannot delete orphaned entries since there are none)

2. can i empty the content of these tables without problems (from the name i assume they only store last read information of the users so that any post would appear to be new when they visit next time) - Correct?

3. If its something else then what would be the recommended solution by the author?

----------------

Some people solved this by reapplying default templates (i guess they had the issue with different tables) or removing identical idizes applied to the same field. Both did not work in this case.

[edit]forgot one info: if i actually empty these two tables no error messages for now
