I've done some searching in the forums, news and even on modscentral for a statitics module. I've found one in the brazillian package that contains numerous modules I've uploaded it but nothing seems to work, it's creator was mispunt. If there is a file I need to edit please give the info a link that will tell me what to do with it.

It should tell me what I want, which browsers visited the site, what OS visited the site and similar info, as well as hourly, weekly and monthly info.

Is there a module that will work with XOOPS 2 that I've missed or will the fore mentioned module work.

Thanks

I could kick myself.

I've learned that logically speaking it all makes sense.

I didnt add the module rights to the moderators soooooooo, they couldnt moderate!

Maybe this will help someone else, or maybe the post should just be deleted cause it's a waste of space.

Forgive my oversite.

At http://www.ispsupport.org I have a small group of users, and I will manage who does what and how. I've turned registration off because I dont want users to register, obviously.

Anyway, I added a few of the users as moderators, however they cant remove, delete or make any topics sticky, only the admin can.

I've not added anything or hacked anything so I'm unsure as the cause of this. I've ran XOOPS before on additional sites with this problem.

Please advise.

Main Menu Hack

I have another post that works to the same end but I've put a different spin on it this time so I thought I'd start another thread.

Rather than wrap the LDP into my site and have to download the entire LDP onto my server and then manage it with the latest version on the LDP home site, I'd rather hack the main menu.

So, with that in mind I'd like to hack the main menu and add the LDP into it as if it were a "module" however having no idea how to edit the PHP scripts/coding to do this. I turn to you all.

is there a hack? is this possible? is it recommended?

My Oreilly Programming PHP book is very nice but I've not digested enuff of that to go this alone.

Thanks for all your help!

Thanks, I found it....but I'm still having the same problem with the site.

check out the site it's at lugot.org. Lower, right hand block it will read Linux Documentation Project. The first page loads as it should but the links are not working. You will understand what I mean if you see the site.

Where would I find the Free Content 2.9 release. It's not in the Modules section!?

I'd like to embedd/wrap the LDP into my website, I've tried using FreeContent but it doesnt handle the links properly it always looks back into the /modules/freecontent/content directory rather than /modules/freecontent/content/ldp directory for the "other" information.

I've tried CJAY and I've not been able to make that module work as of yet but I'm still working on it.

Is there a simple solution for what I want to do? Is it possible?
