I'd like to embedd/wrap the LDP into my website, I've tried using FreeContent but it doesnt handle the links properly it always looks back into the /modules/freecontent/content directory rather than /modules/freecontent/content/ldp directory for the "other" information.

I've tried CJAY and I've not been able to make that module work as of yet but I'm still working on it.

Is there a simple solution for what I want to do? Is it possible?

Have you tried the newest version of Freecontent? (2.9)

It now better handles internal domain links better and integrates them into your site. Beware of external site links, the site will load "inside" your XOOPS site. It's a step in the right direction for now.

Assuming LDP have no objection you can use framebrowser to wrap the content in a frame. I personally just use it for my own stuff..

Here

Let me know if it is of any use to you..

Where would I find the Free Content 2.9 release. It's not in the Modules section!?

Thanks, I found it....but I'm still having the same problem with the site.

check out the site it's at lugot.org. Lower, right hand block it will read Linux Documentation Project. The first page loads as it should but the links are not working. You will understand what I mean if you see the site.

I try Stewdio! We have a news item about the new module on this site here and the link for the module is in it. All you have to do is search and you find it.

awreneau, I looked at your site and looked for that block and it's not showing right now.

You have to put all the pages for the documentation into free content.

You could also just do php includes on all the pages too, in order for them to look like XOOPS pages. It requires editing every single page in your documentation pages.

Or you can use an Iframe script.
