what kind of sort?
could you show us a screen shot?

Sure thing!

Like this post right now is in Module Troubleshooting on this forum...we are reading a thread asking about the next/previous buttons.

Before you clicked on this post, if you looked at the topic just below it, then clicked "Previous Post" it would take you to the topic you saw just below this one.

On my forum, it jumps you say...3 posts down...or 10 if you click that button.

Resized Image

In this screenshot, I had my mouse over next topic and look at how in my forum it's looking to go to an sessionID where this forum we are using right now you mouse over and it's looking at topic and time.

Does that make it more clear? I think the forum I have installed goes strictly by post ID and doesn't take into account that post ID means nothing for these buttons...last post time/date determines what you should be viewing next....right?

Thanks for looking at my post!

Anyone else experiencing the next/previous post buttons in CBB jumping all over your forum page?

It doesn't seem to be using the sort order on the forum page as it's input into previous next and skips all over the posts.

Anyone else or is it just me?

Hi all,

I've been to one side of this site to the other looking for an answer..so pardon if I missed it.

I have 7 themes my users can choose from on my XOOPS site. I notice in the database there is a column for "theme" and it's blank.

My users don't get their favorite out of the 7 themes saved for some reason. There isn't a field in the edit account list for users to choose from where I suspect it should be.

I see the column, I know there has to be something not turned on right for this to work.

Xoops 2.0.16, PHP5, SQL 4.0.16

Thanks!

Thanks but I just found it!!

The themes are missing in themes.html:

<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
<{$xoops_js}>
//-->
</script>

Paste that in below <{$xoops_module_header}> and it works like a champ!!

Thanks for looking at my post...hope I helped someone in the future

Hi all,

I'm a brand newbie, 2.0.16 install and downloaded a few themes (city reflection, bubblegum, etc.). The DHTML editor works like a champ on the two default themes, but these extra ones causes errors.

Researched it on this forum and found for most people the solution was placing <{$xoops_module_header}> in the header tags of the theme...well that is already there in all themes that don't work!

Also, theme instructions refer to:
“Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?” to NO.

This item doesn't exist in my general preferences.

Also deleted the temp files in templates_c as suggested in another thread..still no worky.

Thoughts?

Booo...

Any docs on here talk about adding:

<{$xoops_module_header}>

Into theme.html and all the "bad" themes already have it.

Also the docs talk about turning on:

“Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?” to NO.

And that doesn't exist in general settings on 2.0.16 but:

"Check templates for modifications ?"

Does...I'll toss a post in themes since that's my issue.

A-ha!!! It's theme specific!!

Downloaded city reflections and a couple of others...and it blows up in them...default themes are okay.

Now to theme hunt on why.

Aaah...it's the extended DHTML form only! The other WYSIWYG templates work fine. Since exTcal only uses the DHTML form, that's why I have the issue there...but in cbb you can pick another editor and it works fine.

Okay...so why does the DHTML form have an issue :)
