XOOPS without Javascript?

Hi, what happens if a user of my community doesn't have Java Script activated....is it possible to use XOOPS with that configuration?? Or us XOOPS "useless" without JS?

Is it possible that every user in an XOOPS Community can search for other users or do I have to implement that functionality by my own?
And is it possible that tha admin can send a PM to all users or to all users in group xy? Something like system-wide messages (PMs)

Hi, ho can i deniy directory-acces to any xoopsdirectory, cause if the user types e.g. "xoopspage.php/dir1/dir1/filephp the file is executed. I think this should not be the standard handling

Hey, i have to create a web shop. No I have to decide wether I use XOOPS with osCommerce module or use a shop script without xoops. Does ist make sence to use XOOPS for that??
Some opinion would be great.

TinyD and Template

Hey, I use the contentmodul TinyD. I can create en easy PHP file en this one is displayed. Even global variables are accessable in my Content. Now my Question:
Is it possible to create Templatebased content to display in the contentmodul, e.g. when I got my Content.php in Tiny id like to do somethink like:

$xoopsTpl->takeThisTemplate("myTemplate");
and fill it with
$xoopsTpl->assign('var', 'test'); //this works, the variable is submitted, but not the Template(?)

and finaly
$xoopsTpl->display;

then Tinyd writes the content to a variable named {$content}. This should be the conten out of my Template.
Can anybody help please?
