Hi there,

We are a small company using XOOPS as an Intranet.
We have a few people who sell things over the phone,
we have a list (a CSV file) of telephone numbers from people
who do not wish to be called.

We would like our sales people to type in the number they are about to call, and do a 'search' against the CSV file.
If the number they call come us with a match then they are not allowed to call that person.

Is there any modules, or anyway to do this kind of thing in xoops?

It would basically be using the search engine to search a spreadsheet, if the numbers match then it will find the entry, so the sales person knows not to ring it.

Does any of this sound possible or even understandable?
thanks for any help,
Brad

I use it and mine is currently working fine,
perhaps change your default location and see if it works.

Hi there,

I would like to have my site in German language aswell as English, and I would like to know what I have to do in order to do this.

I have downloaded the module 'xlanguage' and it seems that there is no automatic translator (I wish there was!),

I am totally unsure of the steps I need to take,
I reckon I will have to replace some English words with German somewhere along the line!

thanks for any advice,
Rob

"Server Error, unable to connect to fastcgi server."

This is the error that my internal intranet keeps showing,
we are using Windows 2003 server with IIS6 and PHP 5,we are also using XOOPS 2.0.3 - could this be the reason?
thanks,
Rob

I am looking to backup my site (its an intranet) and I was wondering which is the best/easiest way to back up my XOOPS site, is there a preffered method for Windows 2003/IIS 6?
Thanks for any help you can offer! Rob

hi there, (I have posted this somewhere else but was getting no response so thought maybe I had posted in the wrong place!)

I have read this thread... "https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=457&com_id=16156&com_rootid=16086&com_mode=thread&#comment16156"
................which is about cleaning up the search results. I have followed all the instructions, and it works, but the module titles are all still there. This still makes the search results look a little messy.

Is there a way to clean up the search results completely, so that only the results are displayed (unless there are no results)

Thanks for any help! Rob B
