I ported some time ago the zenTrack helpdesk to XOOPS 2.x
(http://wwwguanxiCRM.com search for zenTrackXoops). it still works with the latest version of XOOPS I think.

regex stands for regular expression, you can make sophiscated pattern filter with regex. ex: anything begining with "welcome to..." can be matched by:

^welcome to*

etc...

that's perfect thanks!!!

how does the regex work then? I just have to put some common elements from each line I want deleted and that's enough? Fascinating.

I used regex=
2004 Associated New Media|Power shower: Switch|Phones: Find a cheaper

(no space arround the |)

It works perfectly.

so for the regex filter I've entered

'2004 Associated New Media | Power shower: Switch your gas and electricity | Phones: Find a cheaper home line'

but this doesn't seem to have worked but when i just enter
'Phones: Find a cheaper home line'

this does seem to work consistently (although i have to click onto another digest item and back before the change will take effect).

I'm wondering if the '|' is the right seperator for each phrase?

To filter out "©2004 Associated New Media" just use
2004 Associated New Media
as regex.

or if there is several:

something unwanted
another unwanted

regex = something unwanted | another unwanted

The magic news block show results retrieved for the last "in database" webdigest url. So just webdigest some "built-in" url links to supply the first results.

make a link like this
http://.../modules/freecontent/index.php?id=10

>For example, let's say I upload a file called test.html and assign a link id of 10 to it. How would I access this page in my custom block menu?

The problem could come from your theme, try a standard theme
