Display effective dates for recurring events in block requires many sql requests. It wouldn't be efficient doing so in a block. So I display them just as recurring, user can hit the link to read details of the event.

This version integrates several changes in Minical block and module settings. Parameters formely in config file are now be controlable via XOOPS standard administration panel.

You could try this :

edit language/english/global.php file

change these lines to :

//%%%%% LANGUAGE SPECIFIC SETTINGS %%%%%
define('_CHARSET', 'EUC-JP');
define('_LANGCODE', 'ja');

// change 0 to 1 if this language is a multi-bytes language
define("XOOPS_USE_MULTIBYTES", "1");

And set XOOPS to English

The vulnerability described in above post affects only Agenda-X versions prior to 1.2.4

Solutions:
configure your PHP installation with register_global to ON
or download Agenda-x v1.2.4

The most recent version of Agenda-X is 2.1.1

login in as admin

click on the menu item : Active&Expired events

In other parts of Agenda-X the date format is controled by the XOOPS constant _SHORTDATESTRING (in language/xxxxxx/global.php file)

ex:

define("_SHORTDATESTRING","Y/n/j");

I will make this applying to the whole script

If you are a coder, I can send you my unfinished version of Fanfiction XOOPS module that I renamed XmmFiction.

I modified the original templating system to use SMARTY and I wanted to change many more but I just haven't enough time right now.
