I plan on advertising on someone's site. Is there a free service company that tells me how much traffic someone's site is getting?

You need to know MS solutions if you work for Corporate America. If you are in business for yourself, that's right "why would you want to use MS solutions"?

All based on ASP.NET. I think those are the major players.

I'm glad I looked at all that because XOOPS still rocks the house . The .NET world is a little late in the game of CMS. There are far more PHP collaborators out there then there is .NET. It shows with the better open-source modules out there.

It would be nice to be able to specify your language in your profile. This way, everything that is not your language will be translated for you in your langauge.

I know...all these request are getting ridiculous but you asked

Although if you've seen the XOOPS code I guess you may be considered "contaminated".

There's alot of truth to that...I would not touch GPL with a ten foot pole if I had a multimillion dollar operation. Wouldnt want to take that risk.

I advise Mandrake Linux (latest version is 9.2) or RedHat Fedora project, if you don't want to pay money for Linux distributions. Links are:

Just wondering if anyone knows of a "Virtual Server" hosting. Typically what this implies is you have this false sense of reality that you own a physical server when in reality you are sharing it. You have your own thread of the OS kernel. This is ideal when you have to configure or customise your OS. In a typical hosting environment you are limitted to what you can do.
