Hi hervet,

Don't forget that when you are using it from kiovi, you must use the stamp icon to insert your picture.

Thanks for the response.

I think the problem is then my site is still running 2.0.7.2. I patched the image manager with the latest version in order to use the stamp icon. Perhaps, I should upgrade the whole site to 2.1.0 in order to resolve my bug.
(I have been putting off the upgrading for a while, since it may involve some unexpected issues. )

3) Try to upload an image as a user would through one of the modules that has a hook into image manager, such as news. It seems like it works but when the list of images shows up all you see is a red "X" where the picture should be. Where it can't find the file.

There is a bug that the image is placed with the relative path
I have posted the bug also in the following lead:
koivi&image manager problem

Hopefully some solution can be found

It has something to do with the relative path of the picture.

When the picture is submitted from the image manager, the path becomes something like
../../uploads/img41592f7b3408c.jpg

So it does not display correctly when displaying the article.

If you change the image path to the full path
http://www.myhomepage.com/uploads/img41592f7b3408c.jpg

It will work correctly.

I hope someone can fix this bug, since changing the path manually for each picture is a bit tedious.

Retraction: I thought I had a problem with the realty module 3.1 on the latest update XOOPS 2.0.10

But it was a problem with my server settings, which should have been:
php_admin_value safe_mode off
php_admin_value register_globals on
php_admin_value open_basedir none

So after I changed the settings, the module works on 2.0.10

This module is really great...

Did you switch on the Debug Mode:PHP Debug in the System admin/Preferences/General Settings?

Then it should give you some message...

There used to be a module called Discography on this web site (you can still find some discussions)

You can still download it from the brazilian XOOPS site:

Currently there is no XOOPS catalog module available for xoops.

Some suggest to use XOOPS gallery as a catalog.

There is a module for a car and house catalog module, called "realty"
You can download it from:

http://www.motorweb.us

It would be great if someone would create a little shop module or catalog for xoops.

Hi Jamescne,

Ha Ha... I had the same problem...

So I kept on looking and found out that:
Regular Options Add A Vehicle|Edit My Vehicles |Create a New User Account Add a Listing Edit My Account Edit My Listings Log Out Home

The Add a Listing is where you add real estate listings.

It is amazing what you can do with the Edit Listings Template
Form Editor Options Edit Member Form Edit Agent Form Edit Listings Template

Good Luck...
