I just want to know if there's anything else missing from the code that was provided in the Security Advisory page.

It gave the following example to put into the httpd.conf file:

php_admin_flag allow_url_fopen off

I did place this in the config file but my Security advisory still says that this file is still not secure...has anyone encountered the same trouble? Is there anything else I need to add aside from the script above?

We access XOOPS by typing in the ip address and the location
ex:

http:///xoops

I could not get to the login page using the new ip address of the server.

i'm thinking of reinstalling xoops, but I want to know the proper way to uninstall it first. Any suggestions?

I would appreciate it if you can share a quick fix to this, aside from reinstalling xoops.

I had XOOPS installed on one server. It's IP Address changed, and now we're having trouble accessing xoops. Is there an easy way to fix this problem or do I have to reinstall xoops? If I had to reinstall it, how do I uninstall and then reinstall xoops?

Thanks. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

hey thanks!

ok, i've downloaded this module. Now I have a silly follow-up question. I've been creating new modules in xoops, but I do not know how to install this one. Like, which folders do I save these files in? TI know the *.htm files should go to the temples folder, but I'm not sure which respective folders the *.php files should go to.

hi!

I want to create a popup window for a printer-friendly version of my page. i simply want the contents of my page to be displayed on this popup window, without the graphics other blocks (e.g. menu and banner). I want it black and white. any suggestions how to do it?

thanks!
