I had XOOPS installed on one server. It's IP Address changed, and now we're having trouble accessing xoops. Is there an easy way to fix this problem or do I have to reinstall xoops? If I had to reinstall it, how do I uninstall and then reinstall xoops?

What exactly is the problem you are having with accessing xoops?

We access XOOPS by typing in the ip address and the location
ex:

http:///xoops

I could not get to the login page using the new ip address of the server.

i'm thinking of reinstalling xoops, but I want to know the proper way to uninstall it first. Any suggestions?

I would appreciate it if you can share a quick fix to this, aside from reinstalling xoops.

check if the DB server is the same server that you had changed the IP ... if so ... you may need to change it in mainfile.php
