i installed the protector module. i went straight straight to the module, and clicked he "ban module" button (i don't even remember what the name of the button was bec everything happened too fast=p) please help me unblock myself. now all i see is a white page. can't uninstall it bec i don't even see the admin page.

...and unfortunately...i wasn't able to set my password beforehand. so when i enter rescue.php, there's no correct password.

Try to correct the problem with phpMyAdmin by editing the table 'config'.
In this table you have to look for bad_ips in the column conf_name. Edit this by removing your IP from the list.

i did find the table and the bad_ips row in the table...but i do not see anything that looks like an ip address so i don't know which one to edit...do i just delete this row?

No, should NOT delete this row.
Click on small icon that looks like a pencil. In the page that follows you'll find conf_value. Check if your ip isin the text field behind it. If so, delete it or just delete everything in this text field.
