How to install 2 xcgal without conflict?

I tried to create a 2nd xcgal but it said module existed, please advice me what to change so that it won't be conflicting. I've change the folder name (best I could do) but it still says xcgal installed, probably due to the existing xcgal prefix in database.

Yeah, group permission will have that private problem you said. I want everyone, anonymous & registered to see thumbnails but only certain group see the whole picture

Changing the folder name of another to-be-installed xcgal wouldn't work because it keeps saying xcgal already existed. Maybe I have to change more than just the foler name.

Please help!

I created a 3rd group said y
but xcgal only differentiate b/w anonymous and registered users. Let's say I create a special category, I want to let only y group in but not anonymous and/or registered users; however, this can't be done in anyway (that I know)

I can solve this problem by install another set of xcgal, but ofcourse it said module existed.

Please help!

Xoops.org server load?

My website compares to Xoops.org, using Alexa.com, is about the same ranking, average of 150 concurrent users. My whole server 2 GBRAm Dual Pentium 2.4GHz dedicated to my XOOPS websites and at nite the server loads sometimes reach to 40!!! I wonder if Xoops.org server load would ever reach that high? Is it a normal thing? never crash my server but delay getting into the websites is very obvious at nite.

Someone plese help :( My website is getting too many hits and without the cache saved it's killing the bandwidth and server load. Please.. ? :)

One thing I don't understand, say if you have two forums, two seperate groups of users sign up, post... they all go to one database? So the two sites virtually have the same data showing even though users can sign up, post from the two sites?
That would be quite easy to comprehend if the two sites are on one server, what if the two sites sit on different server? they can they both point to, manipulate the same database? Can I come up with like one dedicated server for the database and several servers for the websites point to that datbase server?

When I save the cache in preference, it reports "file not found" error and the cache isn't saved as commanded.
What's wrong?
