Hello.-
I've got a problem, Houston. I use IPC_Blue theme and I installed news module in order to get into news I make. The problem is that in the main page only appears the title and de date of the new, but not the section or the intro-text, as I want to.

You can see what I mean in www.hispasonic.com/tribadistas

I think it must be a problem in the block of "Recent news" template. I paste you here the code:

<ul>
<{foreach item=news from=$block.stories}>
<li><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/news/article.php?storyid=<{$news.id}>"><{$news.title}></a> (<{$news.date}>)</li>
<{/foreach}>
</ul>

I think the code only calls "title" and "date". So that, I'd be very pleased to know what's the code I must add in order to show too the section and the intro-text.

Many many thanks

Well, another question (perhaps stupid) I have got in relation with this topic is if its possible to use PHP-Nuke modules for Xoops, as I've seen the module for movies I need developed in PHP-Nuke and may be the way to avoid more complications.

Thanks again :)

Yes, the modifications I need to do are just on the fields. So, I only have to change, for example, the field "Author" for "Director" or "Number of pages" for "Duration".

Nevertheless it would be interesting to add another field more as "Actors" but not much more.

So that, I think that I only have to know how to change the name of the module and those fields. Many thanks :)

Hello.-
As I commented in a topic, I'm interested to include in my web a database of movies. I use a module for Books and I think it would be the easiest to modify in some points in order to make that module for movies.

I searched in Wiki's web the tutorial for develop modules but it's too high for me as I don't know anything about programming, my usual language is Spanish and I'm only interested in some modifications.

So, I'd be very pleased to be recommended a simple tutorial for what I'm looking for... and if this is in Spanish, better than better :)

Thanks

Well, I've just seen it, but the problem, if I didn't read wrong, is that it is used only for show movies wich can be seen in an area and my idea is a simple database of movies.

Hello again.-
I don't know programming PHP, so I can only add new sections to my web if there exists modules for it :(

Well, one of the sections I need is for listing Movies. I'd like it to include Title, Director, Year, Actors, Photo... it's not needed to be very exhaustive. I've been looking for some module like this but... or doesn't exists or I've searched wrong.

Can anybody helps me?

Many thanks :)

Hello.-
First of all, sorry for my bad English.
I'm new in this of XOOPS and I'm developing my web working in local. Day by day I know a little more, but now that I'm trying to use new modules and themes I've got a question:
I don't understand what means RC2 and RC3. I've installed XOOPS 2.0.5 and so many times I have seen mentioned those concepts. As I'm having some problems with the upload of new modules I think maybe because I'm doing it wrong with the concept of RC2 o RC3.

Thaks
