Not a big problem, I also have it with my older XOOPS versions on new PHP. It seems to be a way to tell coders to clean up the code.

News: yes
Document Manager: yes
Custom homepage: hmmm... yes

Have a look in the Module repository, the custom homepage thing could be a bit tricky. JMorris posted something nice last month (year ).

- Set permissions for a theme to determine what groups can select it. Amongst other uses, it would allow a webmaster to run tests on a theme before permitting it out to general use

You can show the themes block to a group, wich allows that group to select a theme.

- Option for a themes/modules/ directory, so that each installed module can it's images and css files in either a 'default' directory or in each theme, to allow complete consistancy throughout a theme.

Each theme should already have a css in it's directory.

I think that XOOPS already has all those "features"...

Not bad... except for the boob job onhttp://www.thaiexpat.org/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=10! My friend Jeff (from the wellnesskliniek), a famous aesthetic surgeon overhere would say "godverdomme ze hebben daar precies nen hoop gazetten ingestoken!" (curse + it looks like they filled them up with newspapers)... hope it's not your wife.

When one of my sites needed moving I bumped into the import limit of PHPMyAdmin. The problem seemed to be the private messages, so I just didn't copy them and then runned the export again with only the private messages: problem solved.

But what happens when you have tables that are too big... in that case splitting could be a lot of work. I didn't try I but I found this:http://www.ozerov.de/bigdump.php
