Yikes - ice! No ice here in NZ, we're right in the middle of Summer. 'Cept it been raining the past 48 hours. I swear I saw a dolphin swam past me as I drove to work this morning.

To turn on PHP error messages, go to System Admin, Preferences, General Settings, and set Debug mode to PHP debug. Then do that anonymous form posting and see what message you get before and at the blank page.

Once you have the message you can turn the debug mode off.

Bump. Am trying to disable the default WF-Channel title myself. I'd like my title bar to remain the same as the one I've set in Admin->Preference Main, General Settings, Global Slogan.

I know there was this thread for WF-Section. But I'm not sure which part of WF-Channel I need to delete to fix this.

Instead of hijacking another thread (sorry) I thought I'll put up my website for review. We're about to launch it on Feb 15 2004, and there are still pages without contents and the menu still need to be sorted out properly. So I'm gonna have to work hard getting these materials in soon.

The color scheme was designed by someone at church with a better sense of color than I do.

However I'm still pretty critical of it myself. I've tested it with IE, Mozilla and Netscape. It's 99% identical except for the border on the right column and the outline around Site Credit. Still trying to figure that one out.

I want the site to be less cluttered and distracting. So we're keeping animations down to the minimum.

I would like to get some honest opinion. Can you see any area I can improve on? Or maybe someone's got an idea on making the site more visually inviting?

Many thanks

ps. God bless ya

Hiya Kelly. Sorry I haven't replied the last couple of days. I got caught up with office work :( darn yearly audit on my IT department.

For those who are not up to date.

1. We know that Formulaire is installed and will work for non-anonymous users. Forms can be accessed and emails are sent.

2. When an anonymous user open the form, they can fill in the details and then submit the form. It then goes to a blank page. The email is not sent (have confirmed this myself with Kelly with a test as an anonymous user).

At this point (using a local kiwi term) - "I'm stumped" :(

Kelly, do you want to try that anonymous post with PHP debug on? I'm interested to see if there is a PHP error message on the blank page.

God bless!

Well I've kinna change the menu on my site. It's no longer using CoolMenu. I've settled for Tigra menu fromhttp://www.softcomplex.com/

Their method is a lot more simpler and you shouldn't find it difficult to use. Plus there is a auto generator at the site if you want to use that instead.

Good luck.

Ayyy... I'm sure Mambo and all other CMS have their good and bad qualities. I like XOOPS over all the others but lets not get into the 'we're better than they are' threads. It is counter-productive.

Hence why Tigra is so much better. Not only is it easier to understand the codes, easier to configure (and free), it works on IE, Netscape, Mozilla and Opera.

Post edit: FYI. I fired up my Mandrake Linux box and check the site

Works on Konquerer and Galleon.

On Mozilla (Linux), the left column is centered vertically so there is a huge empty white space on the left side. You need to scroll down to the middle before you can see the login block.

Check out how it works on my site at VarLinux

Do you realize that you have no link on your main page (or any other page I visited) to actually register on your site? I had to use my uncanny ability to manually type http://www.varlinux.org/vl/html/register.php to become registered.

Further, I have yet to see a menu on your site. Not while anonymous. Not while registered.

I feel cheated and even a little dirty.

Isn't that at the top next to "Home"? There is a "Register" link there.... unless that was added after your response...
